First of all, what type of fuel does your generator use? Your propane generator will most likely be powered by one of three different types of natural gas: natural gas, propane, and natural gas plus propane. For example, natural gas is the cheapest but it has to be liquefied before it can be used, while propane is the cleanest fuel but it needs to be stored in a storage tank very well before it is usable.
